Advocacy

The disability sector is constantly undergoing changes and keeping up-to-date with these and interpreting how these impact on our affiliated centres and the people they serve is a challenge.

The NZ Foundation for Conductive Education networks with other organisations in the disability community and advocates at a national level on behalf of our affiliated centres and those receiving services.  This can involve writing submissions; meeting with Ministries/Ministers; supporting and connecting with local communities; participating in working groups and so on.

NZFCE is very focused on promoting the rights of disabled people and ensuring that the enabling good lives principles are upheld.
